Talking Given in to temptation

OK it happened , I been looking in here for a long time now and thinking I might one day have a go at this do it yaself lark .
I had one of those kits you get to start you off laying about that my brother got many years ago and never used . So took it with me to have someone show me if I could use any of it .
I will not him by saying who ( you know who you are and cheers again mate ) He showed me some of the stuff was ok just to get me started off . We sat down and I was shown how you wrap the fluff stuff to the string sfuff and put it on the hook and all that
I then went home and had a go myself last night and these is what happened
The brown one was the first one ( not happy with it ) then the green ones came next . I know the legs are long but I have always had a "thing" for long legs .
Anyway just thought I would put them in by way of letting people know I have fallen into the dark arts and have no idea where it will lead .......

Here are my first flies

Welcome to the "Dark Art" ST, it will drive you mad, it'll make you cry, it'll make you smile, and you'll get to experience just how it feels catching a fish on your tied flies!

Best get a mortgage in order, as you'll spend a small fortune on the 'art'.

Nice flies, impressive for first tyings... you obviously had a good teacher....

Carl
