Where does one find this stuff? I've not seen it anywhere. Need a little for some OE patterns.

Or, if you hang on a few days, I will include a few yards of the stuff with my compliments, with the Steve Thornton books that I keep forgetting to post to you!

Used to be sold as "Black Streak" shooting head backing, haven't seen it for years. Bob Church was one of the people who marketed it, & he's just retired & sold all his stock. You may find it on ebay & the like.

If you get stuck send me an s.a.e. & I'll dig some out & some you a length.

Just dont do what I did and walk into the local shop and ask if they have amnesia............. I cant remember was the reply!

It seems we both started typing at the same time Phil, but I'd not long returned from the local eye hospital with a retinopothy bleed in one eye, so my typing wasn't up to speed & my post still includes a typo.
