Default Beginners top ten

If you where to Suggest ten flys for a beginner to learn with (for small lakes and resevoirs) What would your ten patterns be? And the order they should learn them to give some progression.(and without having to get loads of Kit)
Mine are :-
Black buzzer
GRHe
Shipmans buzzer
PTN
Daiwl bach
F fly
Montana
damosel nymph
wooly B****R
Zulu
Please give it some thought, My suggestion to the chap is that he watches the How To Step by Step guide. on You tube. David Cammis does a great series but doesn't seem to be the most obvious progression
