Default Perch flies.

Been tying up some flies to target some big perch 5lb + hopefully, on a local lake here they are.

Light perch color.

This color i use for roach color.

This color is just a good one, for some reason.

The four main colors that work well.

Perch flies...just use a Scratch-style buzzer. I caught 5 Perch on one of them today!

Steve, Fine on that, i have had perch on buzzer as well.

Have had a few on this color buzzer i did but small. also on black&gold.
Perch will feed on them, but will say you will catch a lot more on fry patterns. as the are fish feeders more so.

And more so this time of the year,

I would not bother going to all the bother tying cracking flies like that . In my opinion any old flies will do as Perch go for anything . One of the places I fish on a summers evening as the sun goes down I can get 20 + perch in a short space of time . Ive had them on spiders , trad wets , nymphs and they just love lures with orange , green or black fritz . Personally I hate the pesky things as they ruin my flies .

Fishfinger, Thanks for your comments on my tie's, but i try to keep to a high standard regardless what fly i am tying. or what fish i am using them for.

Very much like my pike flies, they get chewed to bit's. but still try and tie better each new fly i tie.
