Default Vice Help

Hello everyone bought a vice of ebay a few months back it was a regency rotary vice

Problem is the jaws have loosened on me they can't hold a hook tight enough the lever to open the jaws is very very loose, wonder if anyone knows if there is a way i can fix this. or i'm out of action for a while

One of my mates had one of these and same happened he sent it back and demanded a replacement,after a short while the same thing is starting to happen again hes not to impressed by the design.

Go back to the seller. if he's reputable he should sort it for you. If not threaten to give him some bad feedback, assuming it was new & not used.

Problem with sending it back is i don't know who i bought it from and haven't got any of the details from when i bought it

I've been using the same vice, its a Regent not Regency, for over two years without problems, in fact I prefer it because of its ease of use to other more expensive vices I've used in the past.

The design is quite simple, I have looked over mine but can't immediately see what may be wrong from the description of the fault, its possibly a manufacturing fault or a faulty component in which case you should go for a refund or replacement if possible.

Thanks found out who it was from by checking the feedback. Will try get a refund because i don't want another from them, this is the second vice i bought from this supplier and both have broke.
