Default Deerhair/CDC/Hotspot thing!
Playing about the other week and knocked this up. Not terribly hadsome a tie but will be refining as the fish certainly liked it

Aye,

Looks well enough as it is so I am sure any refinements will certainly enhance it further. Egg-laying sedge kinda thing? So maybe a green hot spot would work well too? Though if it ain't broke . . .

Yes, when i use CDC i take the "offcuts" blend them a little and keep them in a box.. dark CDC used in a dubbing robe to form the body, then a couple of CDC feathers with deer hair on top.

I wonder if the Grayling would to, its kinda got that look about it
