Default First batch of Danish

Thanks Hans

Heres my first batch of Danish salty sea trout flies......... from left to right

The White (variation) x2 Polar Magnus x2 Magnus x2 all are on size 8 long shank except the second from last which is on a size 6 , i dont think the proportions look right one that one but im happy enough with the rest.

Dont know what the Dane's would make of em

Is there any particular reason way the Danish seem to be daft on fishing for sea trout in the sea ?? Dont really seem to hear about it much in other country or indeed the UK ?? They also seem to fish for them through the winter

Alex,

Eh... because the fish are there, maybe?

The 'inside' coastline, so not the Atlantic side, is quite suitable, with many places shallow enough to fish effectively with a fly, and no major tide or currents to deal with. The seatrout come in quite close to the shore, and can many times be spotted through primary or secondary indicators.

Correct. Hardy fellers, them Danes, and hardy seatrout too

Cheers,
Hans

PS Will you stop by at my tying station this weekend? Bring some additional flies for your set maybe?
