Default Nor-vise.com

For years I've used the lever type vice on a pedestal but increasing stiffness in the hands (old age hits) gives me problems winding hackles, threads etc and I could never master dubbing seal's fur.

Came across www.nor-vise.com on youtube. This really looks the business but does it do the biz? Anyone out there tried it? need opinion before shelling out $300!

mine just has the standard jaws, it holds hooks 2 to 20 no problem i can even use my old tube fly jig from my old vise. unless you want to tie very small stuff, i would invest in the automatic bobbin holder instead
regards al

al,

that is a smashing little tool isnt it ,and designed for the norvise as the whole thing is a system rather than a vice, saves some time spooling the thread back on to the spool to work back at the hook .........

bigwully,

As Little Al says, I am including a mounting board at no charge if you order the vice.

If you are going to the BFFI this coming weekend, I will be tying with the Norvise so you can have a try!

Kind regards
