This is not a criticism, but some of these patterns are very densly hackled / Bold, is this something you have had good results with?
I am very interested in this as I understand the need to change density of hackle dependant on whether fishing on the point or the bob, but I've also had several conversations about how different venues respond differently to the density of hackles.
Interested to hear your views.

No critism taken mate. To be honest, ive tied some with more hackle and some with less. Totally agree with what you say. Weather conditions and venue can certainly dictate choice of fly. Im a great beleiver in having a range of flees.
