Muddlers certainly worked on it this year
I would like to give that one a throw, very nice.

Hi Mayflyjunky,

I found a Bibio muddler or claret bumble was deadly on it as well, did you try stimmies?

I did Sam but found a green muddler May and a black UV muddler hard to beat, not that it done any good during the open, had 8 fish only 2 measured and needed 3 to get through.

Jeezz I must be the only man couldn't get claret to work on Melvin this year.

Don't be be scared to throw in a couple of flies as a Halloween Treat (preferably no Ginger Toms)

Aye but is it the right claret!!!!
You had more luck that me, prop bushing broke while motoring to the first drift, took 2 hours to drift back, luckily the wind was in the right direction!!

Nice flies Saracen. That claret bumble muddler is meant to be pheckin deadly on Lough Inagh.
