Default Polish woven nymph help

Does anyone know what is the best material to weave with.Ive tried rayon but found it too slippy and it tends to fray too easily.

Been doing some myself and tried using antron and glo brite floss. As you say to slippy. This morning I tried some doubled over coloured wire just to get used to the method, looks good.
Think it is worth putting on a floss underbody to smooth out the lead underbody and offer a bit of grip.
Going to try with some Anchor flosses I got from a sewing shop. Will try again with the antron and the underbody.
If it works I will post some pics tomorrow.

I use ultra wire in various colours all with beaded heads. It gives a nice weighty nymph that looks very 'grubby'. Have a look at the link below.
