You want to venture across the bridge a little more often and you will soon see a decent wave.

I've done most of my fishing on the 'wrong' side of the bridge over the summer because I work over near Cardiff, so would go up to Llandegfedd straight after work. Not sure about a decent wave, certainly a lot of rain!!!
