Default Intoxicator shrimp dabbler

After seeing my drunken effort of a mystery (Intoxicator) Dabbler, Saracen suggested that i tie up something similar but lighter for the Shrimp feeding trout of Lough Erne. As the Orange jc down the flanks would imitate the eggs in the freshwater shrimp.

Well i had a go, and cant wait to give it a cast.

I remember the tying of this one as I was sober at the time. (I think).

Hook: Fulling Mill Shortshanl special 6-8
Thread: Claret UTC
Tail: Bronze Mallard
Rib: None
Body: In stages, from the rear. Gold litebrite and artic flash mixed (teased out before next stage), hares ear cock hackle.
Rear Wing: Bronze mallard
Cheeks (eggs). Small Jungle cock died sunburst / orange
Wing: Bronze mallard

Ok mate. Once I get more Bronze Mallard Ill get Claret Intoxicators, Olive, Golden, Fiery etc . The possibilities are endless

Until then, here is an INTOXICATOR SHRIMP DABBLER VARIANT.

I suppose you will be looking royalities after coming up with the name

I did make a million once, but like Geordie I spent most of it on women & drink & fishing. The rest i squandered.

Well, with Christmas fast approaching it would be nice Seriously, your flies are very, very tasty.

Sat on my sofa nursing a cocooned forearm and being thoroughly miserable, i'm pleased to have finally contributed something. I know it's small but Perhaps i've stopped oozing diarrhea through my finger tips !?! I doubt it though.
