Where's the best place to buy minkie strip? It always seems very expensive, even by fur coat standards, and many sellers don't tell you what length you're getting.Alternatively, where can you buy a patch of fur to cut up? I like it slightly thinner than the ready cut stuff anyway, so it casts easier.

Hi Rick,

You can obtain mink patches in various colours from Steve Parton which you can then cut into strips of whatever width you like. I can't tell you how much these patches cost because his website is down at the moment. Hope this helps.

For genuine mink, Steve Cooper's takes a lot of beating. Rabbit is not that difficult to get from almost any supplier.
