I tied them through this season, but haven't been doing much fishing due to family ties!!
However when I have been out at the local put and takes they have been working. The picric worked well during the apple green midge and when silver horns were on the water.The Mid water was taking fish for me in the Middle when fishing epoxies and the cruncher was working but at no particular time.

Pattern as follows:

Body:claret bleached peacock herl or ostrich herl.
rib: red utc wire
cheeks: jungle cock
Thorax: claret UV straggle.
