Default Tiemco hooks

At Bolton fly-tyer's this week Paul Proctor was using some v nice hooks, amongst which was a Tiemco TMC203. He used this for e.g. a Para Ant in about sz16.

The only hook I can find online seems to be a TMC206, not a 203??

Anyone know what the difference is

Sorry to say but there is no TMC hook with that number.

http://www.tiemco.co.jp/english/products/flyhook.html

Maybe it was the TMC 2302 or the 2312?

Kind regards

Thanks for the link Phil , (I couldn't find it on google), very useful guide for TMC.

I actually asked Paul the hook no. to be sure (and saw it on his hook box, admittedly handwritten - maybe mis-transcribed).
I have a blurry photo of the fly: I think the 206BL or the one's Phil suggests (for a longer shank) may be ok for what I'd need. I may try to email Paul for another confirmation. Certainly these hooks look finer, lighter & sharper than the Kamasans I'd been looking at for smaller sizes.

Edit: emailed PP now - awaiting answer

Are you sure it wasn't a 103? As in a TMC 103BL?

Yes, I'm sure - he tied other flies such as a Wonderwing Gnat on a 103 but not this one.

Hi,
Update: Got an email answer from Paul and he's recommending the TMC206 or the Varivas 2100 sz16 or sz18
