wow! firstly congrats on a great pattern you are definately very talented!

secondly, how the hell do you get so much hair onto that pattern? When I tie large deer hair patterns I find that I struggle to get the hair well compacted, maybe im just being a bit reserved with it. Is it a bit of a battle tying these boys up?

Hi Sunny my name is Frank Zervos or you can call me FlySlinger If you like......The hair work on this frog This messinger frog is not spun or stacked it is done in the messinger tradition Invented by Joe Messinger Senior.....It is Square knoted on the hook shanck to do this frog in any other way is conterfit.......Although if you really no the techniques you cAN GET HAIR JUST as dense with other methods......The leg are Very difficult also they take a lot of practice and Cordination.....The Legs are not made from Deer Hair they are made from Buck tail and you have to have a specially Chosen bucktail befor this will work.....If you don't have the right buckTail....you can TRY TO FORM the legs till the cows come home....and they won't form Yes joe messinger SR the person that inveted this procedure now deceased invented these methods from scratch I believe he was a Genus What is the amount that i can scribe without runing out of room I will stop right there and see if there are any other questions if your are not bored I have other Frogs to show if you wan't at another time
