Default Season is over

When the season finished here on Lough Melvin, I looked at the fly boxes and decided on a clearance. When I first came around Melvin about 40 years ago, I was told you need only about a dozen flies. I feel that is true. Has anyone any suggestions about those 12 flies?
Well at least the Salmon start on 1st Jan.

I going to do a major clearance in my own boxes ,a lot of tatty flies and rusty hooks that need binning, intend to spend a lot of time on the vice this winter.12 flies for Melvin, could probably narrow that down to five.
