If you intend to buy a couple of capes for your personal use, just stick them in your suitcase with the shop receipt.

Remember that you can only bring in "gifts" worth up to £36 (I think) before you could get hit with VAT and import duties.

If you intend to bring in a few dozen, then you certainly could open yourself up to REAL problems if you do not have the appropriate documentation to prove that they capes are free from bugs.

I know that when retailers import a large quantity of capes, the box has to be inspected at the UK airport by a Vet of all people and that inspection is charged to the retailer at about £160.00p. Then the capes have to be treated with a gas to make sure all the possible creepy crawlies are dead.

Kind regards
