Thumbs up Daddy "Wet" green tag

Hi Guys

Ive been looking for effective daddy patterns, i tied up three version plan/silver tag and green tag,well i fished them yesterday in Loch Tay.

And the green tag came out tops

It took 5 of the 6 rainbows i caught yesterday im very pleased indeed i fished it on point slow fig 8 as if it was drifting ..............result ?? savage takes had a real job getting my fly back a few times they had taken it so deep !

Hook: Kamasan B175 size 10 (crushed barb )

Thread: Olive

Body: Cock PT tail fibres

Tag: uni-floss chartruese

Legs: Six knotted PT fibres 3 each side

Rib: Gold wire

Hackle: Ginger game cock

Nice flies mate, i have a simmilar fly and instead of the green butt i have a green tag like a green tailed kate,
Sure catcher though , thanks for sharing
Here is a **** fly but iam sure you will see what i mean about the tail

Jim only tied two if each type, yesterday was the first time ive fished them seemed to be the only fly they wanted ?? then i lost one of my green tag daddys started sweating ! didnt see a single daddy in or on the water lots of wasps,bees, other flys.

Given that daddys are so "distinctive" reckon they would work year round ??
