River or still?

For river, get yerself a copy of John Roberts 'Guide to River Trout Flies'. Hundreds of must-haves in there.

maynot be a book but you can sit in front of computer or print the patterns off...

Fifty favourite dry flies by T. Donald Overfield.
It's probably got a few patterns in it that'd interest you, since you probably know most of the popular modern ones.

Fifty Favourite Dry Flies A Benn fishing handbook: Amazon.co.uk: T.Donald Overfield: Books Fifty Favourite Dry Flies A Benn fishing handbook: Amazon.co.uk: T.Donald Overfield: Books

Not exactly going to break the bank either, starting at £1:57 + £2:75 p&p.

The illustrations aren't great, but anyone with any sort of experience can follow the step-by-step instructions easily enough.

Other than that, you could try my dad's old books, which have a very good selection of dries in, usually 2 or 3 pages devoted to each fly with a step-by-step, line drawings & photos for each fly, as well as quite a few interesting anecdotes. They're pretty hefty, solid h/b books & you can get each one for less than £10 inc p&p:
