Believe this was discussed earlier this year and Arkle as always came out with a sound suggestion or explanation.

Maybe a good time to use the search facility I suggest.

Lagartun produce flat, varnished (to prevent tarnishing), tinsel.

There are a number of Uk sellers that stock Lagartun - Lathkill, Sportfish, Lakeland immediately spring to mind - worth checking to see if they stock flat gold and silver.

Default Tinsel

Try polishing up your old tinsel with Jewellers Rouge on a cloth, you then have a choice of dull or shiney tinsel.
Cheers Kev.

Veniard's also do the most comprehensive range of metal tinsels on the U.K. market.

There's a shop in New York called "The Tinsel Trading Company" that are THE specialists worldwide if you want to go the whole hog, that's the place.

This is real French Tinsel. We import and spool our own. A top quality, classic varnished, metallic tinsel.
