I'm liking that, what would I call it? Is that a short shank 8, goldhead, black marabou tail with gold tinsel flash, gold tinsel (straggle fritz?) body, palmered black cock hackle with gold rib and a tinsel collar?
Reckon I can do a version of that, haven't got any gold fritz but plenty of tinsel. Might be popping back to Roughlee more regularly now some of the local Reservoirs have closed to non-members.
An hour later (not all spent tying!) here's my first attempt. I realised I only had small black hackles, yours looks more like deer hair by comparison. I'll give this a throw next time I go. Thanks "Fred the Teacherman"
