'Kate O' Mara'

Thanks to Ms Scratch for the name... reminded her of the actress. Kind of fitted in with the Irish feel to the colours, and the loose, Kate template.

Hook: Kamasan B170 or 175
Tail: GP Topping dyed 'Orkney Peach' (Artifly)
Tag: Fine red Holographic (cos I've run out of medium)
Rib: Twisted red Holographic.
Body: Red/Fiery/Claret seals fur mix.
Body Hackle: Furnace Hen
Head/Shoulder Hackles: W.O.I golden olive hen over orange hen.

Red Holo Leggy Snatcher

Had to use the fine red holo again on this one... ran out of medium, but I've taken to this stuff... it's a lovely deep ruby red, as opposed to that awful purpley red stuff that we seem to get fobbed of with these days. The colour doesn't rub of in yer hands either Looks a bit messy when you get in there with a macro, but the fish won't mind, and it's worth bu66ering about with for the lovely rich red.

Hook: Hayabusa 387 black nickel size 12 (Kamasan B100 or 110 will do just fine)
Rib: UTC wire - black.
Body: Red Holographic.
Body Hackle: 'The Fire' (Saracen)
Legs: Natural or black knotted pheasant tail.
Thorax: Red/Black/Claret seals fur mix.
Cheeks: JC splits.
Head Hackle: Grizzle hen dyed 'Blood Claret'.

Great as usual Rob, love the perch fry dabbler as I have been trying something similar myself.

Would be nice to see a full view of the maccaw dabbler

Are these still taken with your samsung, they look more even vibrant than usual?

Cheers
Ben

I don't think they will work anywhere, the best thing for you to do is send the whole lot to me and I'll dispose of them in a humane manner

Excellent tying, and brilliant photos as usual. I really like the red holo snatcher.

You make me sick. Just when I'm beginning to think I can tie a competant dabbler, along you come with your bloody artistry again and make me realise that I know nothing. That perch fry dabbler makes my version look like a bloated clump of green weed.

Thanks for spoiling my morning.
