Default Goose Biots

Hi,
Anyone have any thoughts / preferences as to which length goose biots should be on snatchers , ie: whole or cut short.........Thanks

Biots being a natural product vary a bit in length anyway, so most tyers vary them to suit the size/type & length of hooks they use.

As a guide I usually make them about a third of the length of the hook shank although I know boys that do well on cormorants tying them the full length of the hook shank.
