Get the most out of your jungle cock cape by using the lower part of the feather, these parts are often overlooked but are perfectly useable




Just take a good pair of scissors and trip to shape


Now you have a useable feather

Thanks for sharing Gerry, I have luckily saved up all the back ends of the feathers as I looked at that part too and thought hmm but didn't crack on to use them - I will have a go with it the way you say

I actually know one person that believe it or not only used that part of the feather and cut and through the top part away LOL - couldn't believe my eyes when I saw him do it.

Also, this maybe common knowledge, but in case it isn't....the split top one can be 'fixed'

Turn it face down and put clear nail varnish on the back of it. Wipe with your finger and with a bit of fiddling you can get it to form a nice eye again
