Default Bring 'em up!

Its that time of year, the fish are thinking about putting on their dancing clothes. They are also looking up but what with all the wind and rain up here you have to give them a mouthful
I think its too easy to just stick on a klink and it can often be ignored if the water is not big enough.
My solution is to stick on a big muckle Deer Hair Sedge, nothing original but OMG it works Toss it out near the reeds and hold on.

I thought this fly might be useful for anyone traveling North of the border this weekend

Size 14 does best for me with a spiky hare body.

Yep me again Col, and this time I mean business. TC and Phil are with me, and we intend to get one or two of those Clyde beauties.
Buzz, I thought that fly was a secret for my eyes only.

Funny you mention a house Col, I did make enquiries about a run down cottage/croft near the hotel we stayed in last time.
It would have made a great retreat.

They are going to build the biggest wind farm in Europe in the hills above Abington and Crawford. It will most certainly be a disaster for the Clyde.fish it while you can.
