Bendy Snatcher

I was on Brenig a week or two ago and bumped in to some guys who I used to tie flies with at the local FDG. One of them's a bit of a legend and he was catching a good few fish in tough conditions. So I had a sneaky look at his flies when he's having a break. They were all small, black and had a flash of something bright under the hackle.

I had the vice out tonight and come up with a bendy snatcher.... I'm sure it's been done load before!!!



Hook: Size 14 Fulling Mill Super Grub
tail: cock hackle - black
body: died black pheasant tail
rib: fine gold UTC wire
Thorax: red micro straggle.
Hackle: black cock hackle

Sorry about the lighting, I'll see if I can get it better.
