picric dyed items

Hi, could anybody tell me how to "fix" items dyed in picric,as they tend to lose colour or change shade

Have you dyed them yourself? if so what % of picric solution did you use?

Yes i did dye them, i dont know the solution strength. at a guess i dissolved a tablespoon of crystals in about 1 ltr of water

That should be more than ample for a few items, how long did you have them in the dye for?
