Heard a wee wisper about this fly. Is it known to anyone else? If so do you have the tying? Many thanks. Sad is me the weather stinks, nearly as bad as Melvin at Moment

Was given the dressing for this a few years ago, I will try and dig it out but am sure a few members from your part of the world will also have the dressing.

It appears it has been reponsible for a 12lb trout from melvin

I got this dressing from a friend who's had a lot of success with it on Mask over the years, but I've never used it much myself.

THREAD – Black.
TAIL – Bronze Mallard.
RIB - Gold Oval.
BODY – Red Seals fur.
BODY HACKLE - Golden Yellow Cock.
UNDER WING - 4 Strands Pearly Tinsel.
WING - Bronze mallard Cloaked.
