Default 5 easy patterns for a beginner?

I am new to fly tying and would be very greatful if you could list 5 of the easiest to ties patterns for a beginner

Spider (pretty much any)

Im new to tying as well and I find lures easier to start with , the smaller flees I still find a bit fiddley but im gettin there .

buzzers
bloodworm

and the list goes on and on and on!!

sorry, was it 5 you wanted, got a bit carried away

there are many easy flies to tie

why a black or white?
any kind of cat will do , doesnt matter whats the colour

I think you should go for a nice mix of easy patterns & deadly killers.
There's nothing like catching your first fish on your own fly!
I'd suggest
1) Black & peacock spider
2) Griffith's gnat
3) Cruncher
4) Gold-ribbed hare's ear nymph
5) Diawl Bach

how about some cormorants in different colours? Easy to tie and bloom effective.

There's some great examples in the fly tying section of this forum

1 - Red Hackle (about the fastest dry fly to tie as well)
2 - Red Tag
3 - Sturdy's Fancy
4 - Grey Duster
5 - Williams' Favourite

1 Hares Ear, dry, Spider, Nymph and gold head!

2, Pheasant Tail, Nymph, Spider, Dry, Gold head!

3, Klinkhammer, in various colours and sizes !

4, Shuttlecock Buzzer, black & Olive size 14 to 22,

5, CDC & ELK size 14, 16, 18, thorax Mole or Rabbit.
