Default whip finish tool

I want to upgrade my whip finish tool to one of the more modern kind, preferably a heavier gauge than I'm using at present. I notice on Davie Mcphail's tying videos that he uses what appears to be a short, all metal tool. Can anyone identify the make or, alternatively recommend what you regard as the "best" whip finish tool?

Suggestions welcome.

John.

Default Thanks

Thankyou for the advice. I shall get onto Lakeland and view the alternatives, although I must say the one used by Davie appeals.

This site is great for speed of response and unselfish advice. It is a credit to the angling fraternity.
