Aye and thanks Alex, but its got a secret ingredient

Its so secret i have not worked out what it is yet

Seriously, i stood in stillish water at the side of a run the other night watching them hatch. Their shuck glows almost, the rest of it is just profile from beneath. Thats my thinking anyway

Buzz gave me this very fly and I have had 15 Rainbows and 4 Brownies on the fly , The thing is deadly , The fly is now a shadow of its former self so needless to say the Vice will be busy this evening

Great Fly.

Thanks Col, glad its working so well.

The ingredients are:-

Hook is a Kamasan B100 /TMC 2457 size 14
Thread i suspect is Uni thread Rust brown.
The shuck is Caddis Amber Zelon.
The body is pure Argentinean Hare in a black/red mix(ultra long).
The CDC came for a ducks ****.

Both the Hare and Zelon were purchased off Phil at Spidersplus.

No torches were used.

The method I was using was tie on a long leader cast out and let it drift then slowly retreive it. This is what happened:
