Not yet, this one appealed to me when I saw it. Didn't know what I was going to do with it till I sat at the vice.
I like it as a tying medium, despite its thickness it is surprisingly easy to work with.

BODY - Thread
WING-BUDS - Orange Biots
THORAX - Thread Built up
Epoxied after tying.

Crackin flies scotfly, had a look on hobbycraft website but cant find the gutermann thread mate, any ideas where else sells it, might pop in today anyway and see if they have any

Dennis, I was wondering if these patterns were perhaps inspired from the "Phantom nymph" that was originally dressed for use at Two Lakes owned then by the late Alex Behrendt ?

No relation to it arkle, the Ghost came out of my own head the rest were just playing with the material/theme.

Muzza, I got mine in Hobbycraft, if your local store doesn't have it you can get it here (second from bottom)

Cheers scotfly, got some at hobbycraft yesterday,also got a tube of metalic blue,silver and clear beads from the same maker (only 99p )
just need to find time to get on the vice now!!
