Keep that safe Carl, you'll be needing that.

Tails look to be micro fibbets, post anton yarn, hard to tell what colour the hackle is, could be cream, or light ginger, body could be superfine. Would make a nice Pale Watery if the size was right, #18 or #16, depending on the hook, what size is it? Nice fly, and that style, parachute, can be very, very useful.

No, it's not a Klink

I'm with pretty much with Graham on his verdict. What kinda size is it Carl? Well worth knocking a few up for river work in 18's 16's and 14's.
I use summat similar for pale wateries, and I suspect that's what it's tied for.
Works well on the Wharfe, and Derbyshire Wye/Derwent.

Fibbets are expensive for what they are carl, get to B&Q and buy a harris no loss paint brush, cost you around £3 and you will get thousands of them, other than that a shaving brush, if you look for white ones you can colour with markers to suit

Hi GC,

That is indeed a 'para-dun'. Microfibbet tails and that look like TMC Aero-dry for the wing (tan).

Cheers,
Dave.

Nice Parachute fly!

Could pass for a yellow May in the right conditions, or an emerging Cinnamon sedge?
