When i answered your post, i had my tying bench out so i cut a cotton bud and run some flat silver tinsel on it to show you the finish the way i told you about. tying in at the head running the tinsel down the tube and back to the head. make sure your tinsel is touching edge to edge, see how smooth it is.

Finished tube, but i have used Marble fox, were i think you have use bucktail.

I did start the tinsel at the head, wind it down to the end then back up. Yes I used bucktail.

ArcticPuppyFly it's not your tying mistakes we're talking about - your flies are not half bad and I'm sure we've all seen a lot worse offered for sale.
