Default Reversed swimming nymph.

Hoping to get out some time next week after some grayling, so tied these reversed swimming nymph's.
Hook- size 14 swimming nymph.
Bead- 2.5 tungsten in orange also done in yellow/ hot pink and green.

Fantastic looking fly. I'd eat that myself.
I like the idea of the reversed nymph. Makes a lot of sense for fishing upstream - the nymph would swim head-on to the current.

waw !!! never tied a reverse fly before . That example is very cool . Should ba a good grayling fly

nice fly dai- what makes you choose the reversed swimming nymph hook?
looks funky, will need to try some of those hooks

How small do those hooks go to? I think I have some lurking somewhere, but think they were rather large!

Hi guy's thanks for the comments, yes should be a killer. was hoping to do a bit of grayling fishing on the Taff with them but it has done nothing but rain and the river is running high.

maharg, the one in the photo is a size 14, and i have only be able to find them in three sizes 10/12 and 14.

Choose to tie them like that, because have watched do tend to look like that when swimming and trying to get back to the bottom of the river.
