After eading englanders post i thought i wouls share a pattern that has caught me hundreds of fish last year. Yes i know some of you dont approve but i fished this under th bung and also retrieving, BUT i found the bung method a hell of alot more productive...

How does a zonker fish under a bung?

I can understand buzzers, nymphs etc as these are typically slow moving critters but a zonker, I thought, is meant to imitate a bait fish so why do you think they go for it fished static under a bung?

Looks good Andy. I have not tried this sort of pattern with an indicator but I can understand how the fur would still be working and looking alive even when static.

TBH it was a accident, i was fishing at one of my local waters last year and the going wa tough and they didnt seem to want buzzers, nymphs etcetc under the bung, and i thought to myself "why not a zonker" just to be stupid....

And wow weeee i then caught 20 fish in 4 hours......strange, BUT hey it worked....and i tried it at a number of other fisheries and it worked at all of them...

approve or not! But the method works and catches fish.
