Default dyed blue partridge?

Hello, i am after some grey partridge dyed blue like in this picture www.danica.com/flytier/aconba/claret_bumble.htm Can anybody suggest an online dealer or does any sellers on the site have any? Thanks

Just cant see why ,Jay is the feather for this ,it has properties that make it great for bumbles and similar.
I have bumbles tied with subs and the real thing ,open the box and I 99% of the time select the real thing .

BTW the fly shown does look good .

I have some of Gerry's electric blue partridge and they are great in patterns like these when you want a bit more mobility to the front hackle than Jay would give,

Another alternative that I find even better is Dyed blue pheasant rump, as there usually sold on a patch and you can sort and find feathers easier, there is also a natural iradescence, I'm guessing Gerry will have these also.

I quickly tied this up to show the difference,

Claret Bumble Variant - as previous but with Blue Pheasant Rump

Steve Cooper of Cookshill does large bags of top grade dyed partridge in several colours incl. blue for £1.25 ish.
