Mine has done a similar thing- I feel your pain. I've been looking for a new one for a while now and have decided on the Snowbee Fly Mate. It seems he best value for money at that price.

Anyone know where I could get one from?

Sorry for the Hijack.

Another vote for the Snowbee Flymate. I got one secondhand and tie upto 100 fly's a week and have had no problems with it.

Can I suggest this website for the Snowbee Flymate .They have just ordered one for me with the ball and socket as they only have the ones without it. It's a tenner on top of the prices shown . I have no connection with them ...I just found them rooting around .
