Default dubbing spinner tool

Anyone have a step by step for the use of this tool. Any tips techniques passed on would be much appreciated. I recently purchased one. I just want to know If I am making the most of it. I form a loop apply dubbing to one side of the loop offer the spinner tool to the base of the loop which brings the bare side and the dubbed side together then I spin it to the desired thickness required. Is this the correct procedure? spinning clockwise or anti. Does it matter which direction I spin it?
Help much appreciated.

Absolutely brilliant Scotfly. I'm gonna practice those techniques. Gives the flies a very impressive style.
Thanks for helping. Great stuff.
