Default hooks for beginner

hi
im trying to build up a good hook selection drys/wets/shrimps ,
not really sure what make to go with ? ,best place to order from?
and they need to be barbless,

Almost all the brands of hooks you can buy today are of good quality, kamasan, partridge, etc.
Always worth checking each hook before you use it though.
Is the eye properly closed, the bard not cut to deep(if appropriate)
The point sharp etc.

kamasans are great value, i buy them in packs of 100's from fastmail tackle.
B405's are great for wet and dry appplications, slighter wider gape than the B170 wet and dry.
for curved patterns you cant go wrong with B100's, not much point in the heavier B110's and i beleive the B100's have better hooking properties.
