It's tied on a Partdrige Yorkshire Dry Fly Hook (code K10)

Thanks for the comment Bear, never tied on this style of hook before, thought it looked good for the type of mayfly emerger I usually tie but with the added twist of having the hook point facing up (in the wing bulge) nothing ventured nothing gained....

Thanks for the comment guys, as I mentioned never used that type of hook before and in saying that I've heard nothing about it, positive or negative, to be honest wasn't sure about it myself but at least it stirred something in the grey cells to come up with something that might work, be interesting to see the same dressing on a more conventinal hook......oh well back to the vice
