Crimson Muddler.

Hook: 10-12 wet.
Body: Dark Crimson/claret Seal mix.
Rib: Small/fine oval gold.
Body Hackle: Brown Hen.
Wing: Woodcock secondary.
Head: Fiery brown Deer.

Good late afternoon/evening bob in a wave. Got a fair bit of interest on Watten recently.

Middle one.
Picricy Muddler.

Hook:10-12 wet.
Body: Golden olive Seal.
Rib: Small/fine oval gold.
Body Hackle: Brown Hen.
Wing: Hen Pheasant dyed ginger.
Head: Picric yellow dyed Deer hair. IE, Sun yellow+charteuse.

Haven't really fished this much yet but it got some interest when the fish were taking Damsels nymphs off the top.

Bottom one, err.. Dabbler. Some of you may have seen these before in P.Ms.

Nice ties. Love the Picricy one and the head on the Dabbler looks as if it has been fused.

Cheers

Lovely flies, how do you get the heads with no hair underneath?
would it be as if you were tying something along the lines of an elk hair caddis type,if that makes sense, in other words just lay the hair on top of the hook rather than spin it,or have I picked the pics up wrong and the underside is shaved very close.

Exactly that Cowie. Think D.H.S or E.H.C. With smaller hooks there's no advantage to masking the gape so just tie it on top/sides and leave the underside free. You still get the same bulge and wake in the surface.

Great,i've been away from the scene for quite some time so some of these techniques I wasn't too clued up on,am trying to source a better camera as even with macro settings it isn't sharp enough, so I can post up some of my flies for comment etc.
