Can anyone recommend where I can get a cheap vise and maybe some tools?

no, I'm not. Although i have been looking at a lot of fly equipment from there online, but i will probably be going to the USA next year so i'll hopefully get a more expensive vice and rods then

Think he meant, you said "vise"(American spelling) here it's spelt vice

Instead of getting a cheap vice, think about getting something decent like Dyna-king,
Which is American, and very available in the UK.

This question comes up alot and for a good solid vice which does the job as good as any expensive vice is the rotatable regents vice at 19.99 it will last you a long time and perfect.You can get them from Davy at newmills deer farm,yorkshire game angling aswell.Also tools you can get there aswell.No need to go daft and buya very expensive vice as this one will do the job and I have used one for many years and tied thousands of flies on it.plus it has a lever rather than screwing the hook in and screwing it out again.
