Gallows

I'm going to buy a gallows tool. They all seem to be pretty cheap and look vey similar, i'm wondering if they are all pretty much alike or is there a specific one that everybody has, or are there any i should swerve?

made mine out of a wire coat hanger and never use the thing now

With the advent of materials such as poly-yarn & the like, usage of gallows tools has all but been surpassed. I haven't used one since the early 1980's.

still of great use to the novice tier who is just learning to tie parachutes ect! but yes your right ,with the intro of these new materials they arent reached for as much ,but still handy to have
