I had a play about this afternoon, a bit of a variation on the Goddard Sedge, l used CDC instead of a hackle and tied on a size 14 Grub hook

Nice tie like the idea of cdc. I've not had a go at a sedge yet but will give it a go.

Same as most CDC flies, a mess but a false cast or 2 dries it off pretty quickly, I had struggled with CDC flies getting waterlogged but combining it with Deer hair fixes the problem
