Post Fly Tying Section

Hi All.
After reading the "Last nights efforts" thread and also posting some pictures of my flies in a previous thread it got me thinking, which could be dangerous!!

In the Fly Tying section would it be an Idea to have a section where Newbie Fly Tyers like myself could post pictures of our latest creations for feedback purposes. That way we could get some feedback from the experts, We would know where to go to post pics and see what problems other tyers have.

The expert tyers could also post pictures of their latest creations for feedback from their fellow peers.
I think we could all gain so much having something like this in one place.

It would be strictly for pictures of flies from newbies or new patterns from seasoned tyers as we don't want to cover ground already done.

We could call it Fly Tying Feedback?

What do you think and if popular how do we get it in position.

Cheers.

Sounds good to me. Get in touch with one of the mods and see if they'll do it. If not, then even a "sticky thread" of that title would do I suppose?

You could always use a forum that is dedicated to just fly tying? you may also pick up more select information (not that you wont here).
The two I use are www.flydressers.co.uk and www.flytyingforum.com . I use this forum mostly for my fishing information and the fly tying forums for my tying information and found it has benefited me immensely.

Hi Royal Wulf.
Good point and I agree with you to an extent as I am a member of those forums as well but I believe that this forum has more members and is possibly more popular so by default you should have more feedback.
I also believe that having it on this forum might encourage fly fisherman to start tying whereas normally they might not visit the more specialised tying forums.
Either that or put them off for life

cheers.
