Default Slot head tungsten beads...

I purchased a couple of packs worth of tungsten beads recently. When I got home I discovered that they had slots on one side rather than the graduated hole that I was more used to.

I am struggling to understand how these slotted beads sit on the hook. They really don't sit to sit well.. is this just me or I am missing something? I am sliding the bead on hole side to the eye, slot side facing back down the shank.

Help!

Jon

Always make sure they are countersunk, I double check, the slots are a PIA imvho.

Post slot

I think the slot is in to enable you to get the bead on larger gauge hooks and sharp gapes as normal beads would not go round the bend.
Still a pia though.
