Not knowing how to upload pics, can anyone help me with identifying a damsel nymph pattern? Essentially it looks like a standard, run of the mill, green damsel nymph with marabou tail and monofilament eyes but there's a small blob of yellow ethafoam tied in directly above the thorax. It means the fly has almost neutral density and swims just under the surface when fished on a floating line and fluorocarbon leader. Most flies sink during the retrieve but these behave as close to the natural nymph as I've ever seen.
I had four of them but gave three away last week to anglers that weren't catching. Now I want to get some more but they aren't in the Fulling Mill catalogue which is where I thought I'd had them from!
